Prairie Creek and Powderface Creek Trail Loop
Directions to trail head
Hike Description
The route shown is three separate legs. The first 6 kilometres is the Prairie Creek Trail. The Prairie Creek Trail continues on through the valley but this route requires you to turn left at the intersection with the Prairie Link Trail. From the intersection, the Prairie Link trail is 3.2 kilometers to the Powderface Creek Trail. The Powderface Creek trail ends about 500 metres west of the starting point for the Prairie Creek Trail at the Powderface Creek Trailhead. The total distance is 12.3 kilometres. The total eleveation gain is 252 metres. While this sounds flat, there is a quite a bit of climbing up and down the side of the ridge above Prairie Creek.
