After approximately 1 kilometer the trail heads inland away from the river. At 1.5 kilometers (waypoint #002) is the intersection to return to the parking area. To the left the Overlander trail continues to the Moberly Homestead, and further on highway #16. It is 6.5 kilometers to the homestead from the trailhead and a total of 16 kilometers to the highway. By turning right at the intersection you will reach the coral where the warden’s horses are kept. After following the coral fence you will reach the access road to the coral that you will follow back to the parking area.
