Nihani Ridge Trail

From the parking lot you will follow the Little Elbow Trail along the bank of the river. The trail meets up with the campground road which you will follow through the gate onto a fire road. This is part of the Little Elbow Trail which is marked as waypoint #01. This trail follows along the north bank of the river. The second trail to the right, after approximately 550 meters of walking is the Nihani Ridge Trail which is waypoint #02. The first section is narrow and after 250 meters meets up with another trail. Turn left at this junction and right at the next which is only a few meters away. As the trail continues you will climb along the ridge and then on the spree slopes. It is possible to continue to the ridge summit but this requires some serious scrambling so you may want to think about turning around before you reach this point. Be cautious if you continue to the top.
