Lake Agnes

Hazards on trail
Hike Description
If you start near the lake, you will begin the hike on an asphault trail. There will be a junction with the Lakeshore Trail after approximately 100 metres. Go to the right (north). The paved trail turns to dirt and the trail climbs gradually to the first of the switchbacks which eventually takes you past Mirror Lake. On the way to the switchbacks when you look across the lake you will see the spectacular Fairview Mountain. Watch for the avalanche path which and is visible on the satellite image. At waypoint #125 you are presented with the option of taking a different trail to Lake Agnes or heading off to Little Beehive. I took the trail to the left which is the most direct to the lake and after approximately 100 metres is waypoint #126. This is the intersection where the Lake Agnes trail meets with the trail to Big Beehive. Big Beehive is off to the left. Keep going on the Lake Agnes Trail and you will come to a staircase that leads to the Teehouse and Lake Agnes.
The area is world renowned for its beauty. The photos of the hike were forwarded to me by Leah Zerke.
