Eagle Hill Viewpoint
Directions to trail head
Hike Description
This one is a great hike for wildlife. I have been in this area now on three separate occasions. I have seen deer, skunks, bear tracks, but luckily no bears, and a pile of these fellows.

The hike starts at waypoint #02 on the Sibbald Flat Trail. At waypoint #03 is the first fork. Keep to the right and you will be on the Eagle Hill Trail. This travels for about 2.6 kilometers above Moose Pond until you reach a barb wired fence. At the barb wired fence at waypoint #06 if you turn left you are on the Deer Ridge Trail. Straight through for approximately 4.5 kilometers and you will be at Eagle Hill Viewpoint. You will have to jump the barb wired fence to see the better views of the valley.
This hike is a little deceiving. The elevation gain is 250 meters but in total you will be climbing more than 650 meters. Here is the Elevation Profile.
