Wapta Falls - Yoho National Park

This is a favourite hike of mine in Yoho National Park. In the winter the gate is closed so you have to park just off the highway. The total distance from the highway to the falls return is 10 kilometers. In the summer you drive through the gate to the parking area. The total distance is then 5 kilometers return to falls and back to the parking area. The turnoff is 25 kilometers west of Field and 30 kilometers west of Golden.
