Rainy Ridge Lake

Does anyone know how to get to the trailhead for Rainy Ridge Lake near the Castle ski area? I cannot find any info and dont' think it is in any of the Alberta hiking guides.

Thank you!

Castle Mountain Ski Area

I have done a fair bit of hiking in the Castle area and I have not heard of Rainy Ridge Lake but there are a couple of small lakes that as far as I know are not named. Using Toporama you can check out the topographical maps around the Castle Mountain area and some of the trails are marked.

There is a Rainy Ridge and a Rainy Ridge Lake near Pincher Creek that is well known for its fishing. It may be what you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply and

Thanks for the reply and links Charles,

I hiked into Barnaby lakes last July to fly fish for Golden trout. Even if we had not caught some fish it would have been an awesome trip anyway because of the gorgeous scenery. We did catch a few of these rare and beautiful fish. Can check it out here on my website http://www.flyfishingthebow.com/Barnabylakes.htm.

I had thought that Rainy Ridge was in the same area but perhaps I am wrong. Even though Barnaby was a strenuous hike, Rainy is suppose to be even more so.
