jb, I checked with a Canmore resident who indicated that he spoke to a friend that went up Ha Ling yesterday. The trail is very icy from the start, worse than it was two weeks ago but manageable with some street crampons (microspikes or something similar). Apparently the snow/ice persists at the top of the wooded areas until June. Enjoy but be cautious.
