Wikimedia Picture of the Year

The photos that have been nominated for the third annual Picture of the Year competition were posted recently by Wikimedia Commons, which is a database of freely usable media files. Among these great photos was the following photo of Peyto Lake in Banff National Park which was shot by a tourist from Germany enjoying this fantastic park.
