I received these pictures attached to an email which indicated that they were taken near Golden. Not accurate, actually it was California, but they are still amazing. The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. According to KOLO 8 and the Truckee Bear League a bear was crossing the Rainbow bridge near Donner Summit when she was spooked by traffic and jumped off the side. The 250-pound bear clung on for dear life overnight, dangling about 100-feet in the air before about a dozen volunteers could safely lower her to the ground. It seems that SaveOurSpots.org was involved in the rescue. Absolutely amazing.
